A stay at Honeypot or Nannygoat cottage, situated in the rural tranquility of Underbarrow in the stunning Lyth Valley, offers peaceful surroundings in the heart of an often-overlooked area of the Lake District.
It’s ideal for couples or small family groups looking to get away from the chaos of modern life. Both cottages have room for up to four guests.
Honeypot and Nannygoat cottages have unusual upside-down living, with bedrooms on the bottom floor, and kitchen and dining facilities on the upper levels. Each cottage is fully equipped for a self-catered stay and includes modern shower and bath facilities.
There are leisurely strolls just outside of your front door where you can take in the local wildlife, including deer and birds, which are easily spotted around our tranquil estate.
The cottages are only a short walk away from the much-loved village pub and we have plenty of picnic spots where you can soak up your surroundings while enjoying delicious local food.
The historic town of Kendal is only a fifteen-minute drive away from our cottages and is packed with shops and things to do for all age groups and interests.
